Sunset Bluff Emergency Management Division’s Recovery Services focus on helping communities rebuild stronger after disasters impact them. Our team provides comprehensive disaster recovery planning and implementation, guiding both short- and long-term recovery efforts.
We manage debris removal operations and monitoring at the Debris Removal Operations Center (DROC), supporting FEMA and state programs under the Stafford Act and California Disaster Assistance Act (CDAA). Additionally, we handle financial documentation, reconciliation, and cost recovery through specialized DOCL units. Our expertise extends to public and individual assistance program administration, infrastructure restoration, and post-fire watershed stabilization and erosion control.
Through community outreach, Recovery Coordination Centers (RCC), and After-Action Reviews (AARs), we ensure transparent communication and measurable improvement. Sunset Bluff Emergency Management Division collaborates closely with local agencies to restore essential services, rebuild infrastructure, and enhance resilience for the future.
